Carolin advises private and public clients on contract drafting in construction and real estate projects. She also advises on all issues relating to construction and architects’ law as well as real estate law, both in and out of court. A further key practice area is public construction law.

- Studied law at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Connecticut School of Law, 2008 to 2014
- Research assistant in a leading international commercial law firm in corporate, stock and capital markets law, 2014 to 2017
- Legal clerkship at the Court of Appeal Berlin, 2018 to 2020, with seats at the Foreign Office Berlin, the United Nations in Geneva and in a leading international commercial law firm in real estate
- PhD in private insurance law at the Free University Berlin with a research residency at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law
