Jacky Lui, LL.M.

Jacky is specialized in representing clients in international arbitration proceedings. He has advised clients on both contentious and non-contentious arbitral and enforcement proceedings. Mr. Lui has extensive experience conducting arbitrations under the rules of ICC, CIETAC, SCC, HKIAC and ICSID, as well as ad hoc arbitration proceedings. He specializes on cases in the energy, mining, plant construction and infrastructure sectors. He has represented companies and sovereign States in investor-State arbitration proceedings under bilateral investment treaties and investment agreements. Owing to an interest in Emerging Technology, Cybersecurity and AI, Mr. Lui additionally completed a certification in Data Science and AI, where he leverages AI coding assistants (e.g. Cursor and Claude Code) to build AI-workflows, automations and customized tools for lawyers. Jacky regularly contributes to his alma mater at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Mr. Lui is an Australian citizen and is admitted as a solicitor with the Law Society of New South Wales. He studied in Sydney (Australia), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Berlin (Germany). He speaks English and Cantonese Chinese. He has a working knowledge of German.
