Stefan advises principals and contractors on all issues relating to construction and real estate law, in particular contract drafting, supplementary remuneration or anti-claim management, construction process disruptions and in litigious disputes. Thanks to his many years of practical construction experience as a qualified civil engineer and project developer, he is also able to quickly develop practical solutions to construction management and technical issues. Clients include construction companies and project developers.
A further key practice area for Stefan is the provision of procurement law advice to principals or grant recipients as well as contractors, in particular in the planning and implementation of European construction and planning contracts. Providing strategic advice to the client with regard to the awarding of contracts to sole contractors or general planners, is a particular focus here. Stefan also represents principals and contractors in complaints under public procurement law or review proceedings before the public procurement tribunals.
He also has a particular passion for advising on all issues surrounding sustainability, whether for climate-neutral planning and construction (Kapellmann green contracts), the implementation of ESG requirements or EU taxonomy in project development, the drafting of green leases or the implementation of green procurement measures. As a DGNB Registered Professional, Stefan Latosik is especially well-placed to provide comprehensive and effective advice to institutional public principals and assist them in achieving climate neutrality.
Stefan regularly passes on his practical experience through presentations on construction law, real estate law and public procurement law.
